About Us
TIFAN stands for "Technology Innovation Forum for Agricultural Nurturing". It is an initiative by SAEINDIA (Society of Automotive Engineers) which is an international organization. SAEINDIA was started in 1994 and has been working towards the development of the automotive industry in India. TIFAN is a student competition program that aims to promote innovation and technology in agriculture. The program is designed to encourage students to come up with innovative solutions that can help improve the agricultural sector in India.
Purpose, Vision & Mission
Agriculture is backbone of our economy. Our Agriculture is lacked in mechanization due to Innovation Limitation Farmers are seeking more frugal and nimble Solutions especially in labor intensive areas Enabling Agricultural Innovation through TIFAN is building solution for farmers with innovative approach
TIFAN TEAM SAMSKARA started its journey from June 2018.The team first participated in TIFAN 2019 competition. The task given during 2019 TIFAN competition was self-propelled onion harvester. The team consist of 25 Members from different branches which including electrical .Mechanical, computer and Electronics and Computer Engineering.
